　　Main applications:Used for extracting precious metals such as gold and silver,quenching,electroplating,pharmaceuticals,dyes,and other organic synthesis industries.

　　Safety protection measures:

　　Engineering control-strengthen sealing,provide sufficient local exhaust and accident ventilation,prevent sodium cyanide from encountering or coming into contact with acid

　　Respiratory protection-wear a gas mask or oxygen type gas mask

　　Eye protection-wear a mask or gas mask;

　　Body protection-wear protective clothing

　　Hand protection-wear protective gloves;

　　Other-Smoking,eating,and drinking are prohibited in the workplace.After work,thoroughly clean and store clothes contaminated with toxic substances separately before use.The workshop should be equipped with first aid equipment and medication.Relevant personnel should learn self-help and mutual assistance.

　　Emergency measures:

　　First aid measures-For those who have been poisoned by inhalation,first aid should be provided quickly,allowing the patient to immediately leave the contaminated area,remove contaminated clothing,and stay in bed in a well ventilated area for insulation.When breathing stops,artificial respiration must be performed immediately(mouth to mouth resuscitation cannot be used),and the patient must be promptly sent to the hospital for treatment,oxygen delivery,rest,and insulation as soon as possible.Eye irritation or skin contact requires rinsing with plenty of water.If you accidentally take it,you must be taken to the hospital faster to urge your stomach.

　　Leakage treatment-isolate the leakage contaminated area,set up signs around it to prevent diffusion.Emergency responders should wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing(completely isolated).Do not directly contact the leaked material,do not raise dust,clean carefully,and move to a large amount of water for treatment.When there is a large amount of leakage,it should be covered to reduce scattering,collected and recycled for harmless treatment.Leakage should be immediately surrounded by embankments in the river to prevent pollution from spreading.The treatment generally adopts alkaline chlorination method,adding alkali to make the water alkaline,and adding excess sodium hypochlorite,liquid chlorine or bleaching powder for treatment.

　　Firefighting methods-Extinguishing:dry powder,sand.Prohibit the use of acid and alkali fire extinguishers such as carbon dioxide.

　　Environmental monitoring method:Rapid method-Catalytic rapid method.National standard methods-silver nitrate titration method,cyanide ion selective electrode method,isoniazid pyrazolone spectrophotometric method,pyridine barbituric acid colorimetric method.
